Oakfield Village provides 492 new homes and is influenced by the Garden City Movement. It will include the first phase of Canal Park, together with Oakfield Park and Broughton Brook Park. In addition to the new homes, there will be children’s play areas and a community building including a children’s nursery and a community hall.

Take a closer lookOrchard Green will be set in almost 50 acres of public open space, with Railway Park to the south. In addition to the 861 new homes, there will be a community centre, sports pitches, allotments, a new primary school and a site for a secondary school.
Take a closer lookAt the heart of Kingsbrook sits Canal Quarter, which will incorporate the Neighbourhood Centre. In addition, Canal Quarter will be home to the public transport hub and will have its own community centre and nursery.
The basin area and square will create an area that reflects Aylesbury’s historic connection with the Grand Union Canal. The square will provide a community space with areas for seating and socialising. A number of routes, including the Canalside Link, will connect this area to the rest of the village.
